I Haven’t Received an Email Verification Code
If you haven't received your email verification code, it might be due to one of the following reasons:
- Junk/Spam Folder: Check your Junk or Spam folders if the email isn't in your Inbox.
- Quarantined Email: Sometimes, emails are held in a quarantine process. Check with your IT team or email provider to confirm if emails from Beyond Encryption are held or need whitelisting.
- Forwarded Email: If you received a secure email via forwarding, it won't work. Only the original recipient can open it. Ask the original sender to create a new secure email for you.
- Reading as a Recipient When a Sender: If you sent the email and are trying to open it, you need to sign in instead. This will take you to your secure email copy.
Creating a Mailock Free Account
To reply securely and send up to 5 secure messages each month, follow these steps to create a Mailock Free account:
Visit Mailock to get started.
- Enter your information, create a password, and click ‘Sign Up’.
- Click on ‘Send Code’.
- Check your email inbox for the code (it may take a minute to arrive) while keeping the browser tab open.
- Enter the 6-digit code on the web browser and click 'Verify Code'.
- Once verified, you'll see the secure email compose pane, indicating your account setup is complete.
- Choose a hard-to-guess password to keep your emails secure. It must be at least 10 characters long and contain at least 3 of the following:
• Lower case letters (a-z)
• Upper case letters (A-Z)
• Numbers (0-9)
• Special characters (e.g. !@#$%^&*)
